(2008) Food and Drink 2008 Meet Signups!Heya! ^_^
Once again, some main dishes for lunch will be supplied by Sheena (looks like sloppy joes this year!). Other things we will likely want/need are listed here in categories. If you are able, and planning on attending... please post here with what category you wish to take care of.

GloryGeekGirl - Light Desserts (Cookies, Muffins, Cupcakes...)
Gypsy - Lunchmeat Slices Tray (Ham, Turkey, Salami...)
Tiggerkitn - Pop Drinks (Soda, Root Beer, Sugar/Caffiene-Free...)
Tiggerkitn - Chips (At least two different bags)
Anime Amy - Heavy Desserts (Cake, Fudge...)
Lemondrop Wishes - Veggie/Fruit Tray (Celery, Carrots, Strawberries, Dip?)
Espresso Snail - Cracker Tray (White, Wheat, Whatever...)
ApplejackGirl - Potato Salad (whatever goes in a potato salad...)
Irish Seashell - Sandwich-Sliced Cheese Tray (Swiss, Cheddar...)
***A reminder, we WILL have EASY ACCESS to a REFRIGERATOR. So, anything that needs to be kept cold can be put in there until we use it at lunch***
Please post and let us all know which one of these items you will take care of. I will update this list with sections taken. Whatever you bring, make sure there is enough for approximately 6 to 8 people. Not too much, otherwise there will be tons left over!
You can absolutely team up with another meet-goer for a food section if one of these alone is too much for one person. ^_^
We also ask that you do TWO THINGS with the food/drinks you bring:
1. Set it out when you arrive, make it accessible. You'd be surprised how many good things don't get eaten because nobody is willing to open the bag or cut the first slice!
2. Take home (or give to someone) any leftovers of your stuff.
Tableware will also be provided by the lovely Sheena: Cups, Plates, Napkins.

I volunteer to bring the chips and pop/soda. Any special requests? I'm thinking Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite for the drinks. Plain and BBQ for the chips?

I can bring meet and cheese trays, bread, mayo, and mustard. Possibly some tomatos and bell pepers too if my garden cooperates!

If there is something you would like to bring that was not on the list please feel free to bring that.
Or like Firemuse said a prize would be good.
Or lets see maybe extra pop or chips could be used.

Oh! I have a package of keebler fudge shoppe deluxe grahams that I haven't opened yet. I'll bring those. Can't have lunch without cookies!
